PM Narendra Modi Launched India’s first indigenously developed rotavirus Vaccine.
The first Indigenously developed Rotavirus Vaccine which named Rotavac has been launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 9 March 2015.
The vaccine is developed by Bharat Biotech situated at Hyderabad, with Indo-US collaboration.
The vaccine is expected to reduce infant death caused due to Rotavirus diarrhoea.
Maharashtra State Launches Bhagyshree Scheme for Girl Child

Sun-Ranbaxy merger clears the final stage
The two biggest pharmaceutical companies Sun Pharma and Ranbaxy received approval from The Punjab and Haryana high Court on Monday.
Earlier in January, the deal had received the US-Fedral Tade Commission Approval.
The deal is expected to close this month, after the merger Sun Pharma will become the World’s fifth largest generic drug maker.

Union Government has released 'Digital Gender Atlas for Advancing Girls Education' a web-based tool for advancing girls education. It was unveiled by the Department of School Education and Literacy in the Union Ministry of Human Resources Development (HRD) in New Delhi.
