भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने हाल ही में अपने अपडेट में UPI 123Pay के लिए लेनदेन की सीमा को 5,000 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 10,000 रुपये कर दिया है।

क्यों है चर्चा में ?

भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने हाल ही में अपने अपडेट में UPI 123Pay के लिए लेनदेन की सीमा को 5,000 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 10,000 रुपये कर दिया है। यह घोषणा, 9 अक्टूबर, 2024 को RBI के विकास और नियामक नीतियों पर बयान में की गई थी, जिसका उद्देश्य पूरे भारत में फीचर फोन उपयोगकर्ताओं के लिए डिजिटल भुगतान अनुभव को बढ़ाना है। नेशनल पेमेंट्स कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (NPCI) ने 25 अक्टूबर, 2024 को एक परिपत्र में इस परिवर्तन की पुष्टि की, जिसमें 1 जनवरी, 2025 को अनुपालन की समय सीमा निर्धारित की गई थी।



UPI 123Pay क्या है? 

नेशनल पेमेंट्स कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (NPCI) ने UPI 123Pay विकसित किया, जो एक क्रांतिकारी समाधान है, जो फीचर फोन जैसे गैर-स्मार्टफोन उपकरणों पर यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (UPI) लेनदेन को सक्षम करता है। यह नया लॉन्च किया गया समाधान इंटरनेट के उपयोग के बिना एक डिजिटल भुगतान अनुभव देता है, जिससे यह आबादी के एक बड़े हिस्से के लिए सुलभ हो जाता है जो अभी भी डिजिटल लेनदेन विधियों से अनजान हैं। और सबसे अच्छी बात यह है कि UPI 123Pay के तहत लेनदेन के लिए कोई शुल्क नहीं है।

UPI 123Pay कैसे काम करता है ?

यहां बताया गया है कि आप विभिन्न भुगतान विधियों के माध्यम से UPI 123Pay का उपयोग कैसे कर सकते हैं: IVR, या कॉल-आधारित: इस विधि के लिए, आप अपने बैंक द्वारा प्रदान किए गए IVR नंबर डायल कर सकते हैं और अपने फोन के कीपैड का उपयोग करके मेनू से वांछित सेवा का चयन कर सकते हैं। इसके बाद, आपको लेनदेन को पूरा करने के लिए राशि और अपना UPI पिन दर्ज करना होगा। मिस कॉल आधारित: यह एक सरल तकनीक है जहां आप व्यापारी के स्थान पर प्रदर्शित नंबर पर एक मिस्ड कॉल दे सकते हैं, जिसके बाद आपको भुगतान को प्रमाणित करने के लिए कॉलबैक प्राप्त होगा। फिर आप लेन-देन को सफलतापूर्वक पूरा करने के लिए अपना UPI पिन दर्ज कर सकते हैं।

फीचर फोन ऐप-आधारित फीचर फोन के लिए विशेष रूप से डिज़ाइन किया गया एक ऐप है; उस UPI ऐप को डाउनलोड करें और स्कैन और पे या सेंड मनी विकल्प चुनें। फिर आप सफल लेनदेन के लिए प्राप्तकर्ता का विवरण, राशि और अपना UPI पिन दर्ज कर सकते हैं। 

ध्वनि आवृत्ति: इस विधि का उपयोग करके, आप IVR नंबर पर कॉल कर सकते हैं और व्यापारी विकल्प का भुगतान करना चुन सकते हैं। वे अपने मोबाइल फोन को व्यापारी डिवाइस (POD) पर टैप करते हैं और तब तक # दबाते हैं जब तक आपको एक अनूठा स्वर नहीं सुनाई देता; फिर आप भुगतान करने के लिए राशि और UPI पिन दर्ज कर सकते हैं।

 India's First Hybrid Cricket Pitch

The cricket stadium in Dharamshala, run by the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA), has put in a special new type of pitch, called a ‘hybrid pitch’. It’s the first time a venue in India approved by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has installed this kind of pitch. This new pitch will make a big difference in how cricket matches are played in the future, both for international games and the Indian Premier League (IPL).

This special pitch is made using a mix of natural grass and a small amount of synthetic fiber, which makes it stronger and more consistent. It means players can expect a better playing surface every time they step onto the field.


The president of HPCA, R.P. Singh, thinks this new technology is a big deal for Indian cricket. He believes it will change the way cricket is played in the country.

A company called ‘SISGrass’ from the Netherlands installed this new pitch. They're known for their advanced techniques in making sports fields better. Paul Taylor, who used to play cricket for England and now works with SISGrass, thinks this new pitch will really boost cricket in India.

 

These hybrid pitches are already popular in the UK, and the International Cricket Council (ICC) approves of them for shorter cricket matches like T20 and 50-over games. The machine used to install this new pitch will be used in other Indian cities like Ahmedabad and Mumbai to make more of these pitches.

 

This change comes after the Dharamshala pitch had some problems during a big cricket tournament last year. Now, with this new technology, those issues should be fixed, and players can expect a more reliable and better-performing field in the future.

 

This new pitch in Dharamshala is a big step forward for Indian cricket. It shows that India is serious about using modern technology to improve the game, and it’s likely to have a big impact on how cricket grows in the country.

Navratna and Miniratna are categories assigned to Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) in India to recognize their performance and grant them greater autonomy. The classification is based on various financial parameters and operational performance indicators.

Navratna CPSEs

Navratna CPSEs are considered the most prestigious and successful CPSEs in India. They are granted greater autonomy in decision-making, including:

  • Establishing subsidiaries or joint ventures without prior government approval
  • Approving foreign collaboration proposals up to $500 million
  • Raising capital from the market without government approval
  • Spending on capital expenditure up to 15% of their net worth

Miniratna CPSEs

Miniratna CPSEs are categorized into two sub-categories: Miniratna Category I and Miniratna Category II. Miniratna Category I CPSEs enjoy greater autonomy than Miniratna Category II CPSEs.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Navratna status, a CPSE must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Miniratna Category I CPSE
  • Have a consistent track record of profitability
  • Have a global presence and market standing
  • Have a strong corporate governance framework
  • Have a commitment to innovation and technology

To be eligible for Miniratna status, a CPSE must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a consistent profitable track record for at least three years
  • Have a net worth of at least Rs. 500 crore
  • Have a turnover of at least Rs. 2500 crore
  • Have a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) rating of 'Excellent' or 'Very Good' for at least three of the last five years

The classification of CPSEs into Navratna, Miniratna Category I, and Miniratna Category II is reviewed periodically by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) based on the performance of the CPSEs.

What is the Order of the Nile?

ऑर्डर ऑफ़ द नाइल (order of the nile award) की स्थापना वर्ष 1915 में मिस्र के सुल्तान हुसैन कामेल द्वारा की गई थी। इस पुरस्कार का उद्देश्य उन व्यक्तियों को मान्यता देने का था जिन्होंने देश के लिए बहुमूल्य सेवा प्रदान की थी, 1953 में राजशाही समाप्त होने के बाद ऑर्डर ऑफ द नाइल (order of the nile) मिस्र का सर्वोच्च राज्य सम्मान बन गया।

What is the Design of the "Order of the Nile"?

ऑर्डर ऑफ द नाइल में शुद्ध सोने से बनी तीन इकाइयाँ होती हैं।  ये इकाइयाँ फ़िरोज़ा और माणिक से सजे एक गोलाकार सोने के फूल से जुड़ी हुई होती है। पहली इकाई बुराइयों के खिलाफ राज्य की सुरक्षा का प्रतीक है, दूसरी इकाई नील नदी द्वारा लाई गई समृद्धि और खुशी का प्रतीक है, और तीसरी इकाई धन और सहनशक्ति का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है। 

  • ऑर्डर ऑफ द नील की शुरुआत सन् 1915 में हुई थी
  • यह पुरस्‍कार सोने का एक कॉलर जैसा दिखता है
  • यह प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को दिया गया 13वां सर्वोच्च राजकीय सम्मान है

PM Modi and the Order of the Nile?

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को मिस्र के राष्ट्रपति अब्देल फतह अल-सिसी ने अपनी यात्रा के दौरान ऑर्डर ऑफ द नाइल से सम्मानित किया। यह उनका 13वां अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार है। यह सम्मान प्रधानमंत्री मोदी द्वारा अपने देश और वैश्विक मंच पर किए गए बहुमूल्य योगदान और सकारात्मक प्रभाव को स्वीकार करता है। 

ऑर्डर ऑफ द नाइल (order of the nile award) को जॉर्डन के राजा हुसैन, संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति जिमी कार्टर और रानी एलिजाबेथ द्वितीय सहित विभिन्न सम्मानित व्यक्तियों को प्रदान किया गया है। प्राप्तकर्ताओं की सूची व्यापक नीचे दी गयी है।
