KCR defeat in Telangana:
This development occurred shortly after BRS suffered a significant defeat in the Telangana legislative assembly election, where Congress' A Revanth Reddy won a resounding victory with 64 seats, leaving BRS with only 39. Rao, who ran for office in two constituencies, emerged victorious as an MLA from the Gajwel Assembly constituency but faced defeat in Kamarreddy.
On December 7, Reddy was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Telangana in Hyderabad, with Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka assuming the role of Deputy CM. Reports suggested that even before the elections, K Chandrashekar Rao had been spending most of his time at his farm house.
KT Rama Rao, the son of former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), has provided an update on his father's health condition. KCR, a 69-year-old leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, was hospitalized after a fall at his farmhouse. According to KT Rama Rao, his father has suffered a hip fracture and requires a hip replacement. The standard recovery time for such injuries is typically six to eight weeks.
