India successfully launched its fourth navigation satellite IRNSS-1D from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.

Rajasthan Assembly has passed the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj (amendment) Bill, 2015, with this bill  Rajasthan became the first State in the country to fix a minimum educational qualification for contesting elections to the Panchayati Raj Institutions.


IMF approved financial support to Pakistan

Government approved Airborne Warning and Control System

Indo American biology professor selected for prestigious U.S.presidential award
An Indian-American biology professor is among 15 scientists, who have been selected for a prestigious U.S. presidential award for excellence in the field of science, mathematics and engineering. Murty S Kambhampati, a professor of biology at Southern University at New Orleans will receive the award at a White House ceremony later this year.


Russia to join Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank
