which were launched recently. It is very useful study material for the upcoming

Sukanya Samridhi Yojna (Launched on 22nd
January 2015)
The
Sukanya Samriddhi Account Yojana, also known as girl child prosperity scheme
launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sukanya Samriddhi account is to
ensure a bright future for girl children in India. It will facilitate them
proper education and carefree marriage expenses.
Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana (Launched on
22nd January 2015)
This
yojana was launched by Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi means “Beti bachao
beti Padhao” (BBBP) Yojana (save daughter, educate daughter) to save and
empower the girl child is making waves all over the nation. The focus of this scheme
is to focus on the intervention and multi-section action in almost 100
districts with low Child Sex Ratio (CSR).
HRIDAY (National Heritage City Development
and Augmentation Yojana) scheme (Launched on 21st January 2015)
The
Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India, launched the National
Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana (HRIDAY) scheme on 21st
January, 2015, with a focus on holistic development of heritage cities. The
scheme aims to preserve and revitalise soul of the heritage city to reflect the
city’s unique character by encouraging aesthetically appealing, accessible,
informative & secured environment.
Smart Cities (Launched on 29th April 2015)
Aim
of this Scheme is to set up 100 smart cities across the country. The 100 smart
cities mission intends to promote adoption of smart solutions for efficient use
of available assets, resources and infrastructure.
MUDRA Bank Yojana (Launched on 8th
April 2015)
This
scheme Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency Ltd (MUDRA) Bank launched on
8 April, 2015 with a corpus of Rs 20,000 crore and a credit guarantee corpus of
Rs 3,000 crore. The launch was the fulfillment of an announcement made earlier
by the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in his FY 15-16 Budget speech.
Unearthen Black Money (Bill Passed on 14th
May 2015)
Bill
to deal with black money stashed abroad was passed by Parliament with
government warning those having such assets to utilise the 'compliance window'
or have sleepless nights once the global automatic information exchange system
comes into effect in 2017.
Atal Pension Scheme (Launched on 9th May
2015)
This
Scheme is launched for the benefit of unorganised sector‘s workers.
Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana
(Launched on 9th May 2015)
Pradhan
Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana is a government-backed accident insurance scheme in
India. Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana is available to people between 18
and 70 years of age with bank accounts. It has an annual premium of ₹12.
Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana
(Launched on 9th May 2015)
Pradhan
Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana is available to people between 18 and 50 years
of age with bank accounts. It has an annual premium of ₹330.
Digital India (Launched on 1st
July 2015)
The
Digital India programme is a flagship programme of the Government of India with
a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge
economy.
Skill India (Launched on 15th July 2015)
Government
launched ambitious projects that aims to train over 40 crore people in India in
different skills by 2022.
Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (Launched on
28th August 2014)
PMJDY
is a National Mission on Financial Inclusion encompassing an integrated
approach to bring about comprehensive financial inclusion of all the households
in the country.
Make in India (Launched on 25th September
2014)
Make
in India is an initiative of the Government of India to encourage
multinational, as well as domestic, companies to manufacture their products in
India.
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana
(Launched on 25th September 2014)
Aim
of this scheme to provide employment to youth residing in rural area.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Launched on 2nd
October 2014)
Aim
of this scheme to have clean India by 2nd October 2019.
Pradhan Mantri Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana
(Launched on 11th October 2014)
Each
MP to develop three villages by 2019.
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Shramev Jayate Karyakram
(Launched on 16th October 2014)
This
Scheme is launched with aim to create an environment conducive to industrial
development while also ensuring transparency in the labour sector, the Prime
Minister launched a host of schemes which envisage, among others, portable PF
accounts and a unified portal for labour inspection at firms.
Bal swachh mission (Launched on 14th
November 2014)
The
Bal Swachhta Mission is a part of the nationwide sanitation initiative of
‘Swachh Bharat Mission’ to create awareness about the cleanliness of the
children.
Indradanush Scheme (Launched
on 25th December 2014)
Aim
to immunize all children against seven vaccine preventable diseases namely
diphtheria, whooping cough (Pertussis), tetanus, polio, tuberculosis, measles
and hepatitis B by 2020.
