newspaper is one of the most important parts of the preparations for any
competition examination. In every exam, there
is section of current affairs and general knowledge. You can score good marks
in current affairs if you read newspapers and magazines regularly. It is equally important for interviews.
Reading
newspaper makes you more confidence as newspaper reading allows you to develop
argumentative skills.
Usually
Newspapers are thick in size and it is not possible to read the whole newspaper
in a one to two hours. It is not good to

the end of the newspaper you should note down the meaning of the words which
you are seeing for first time. You should discuss about news to your friends,
it will help you to understand the topic better.
Read
the Editorial articles watchfully. An
editorial article is gives a good balanced perspective of the topic. These
contain good English and can help you in improving your English writing skills
and vocabulary.

/ banking News section contains business news affecting economy, monetary
policies, stock markets, new guidelines issued by regulators (e.g. RBI,
SEBI). This section is of more important
