👉World Elephant Day is observed on 12 August. This is celebrated as international annual event to create awareness about preserving and protecting the elephant across the world.

The Day recognize importance to protect the intelligent and huge animal from extinction.


👉Israel has shared its artificial intelligence (AI)-based technologies and high-end equipment with AIIMS, Delhi.  This is a part of India-Israel cooperation fight against COVID-19.


These high end technologies include AI video-oriented and voice operated autonomous personal robot and mobile applications that can be installed on any mobile phones of COVID-19 staff.


👉Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel launched Indira Van Mitan Yojana on the occasion of World Tribal Day. The aim of this scheme is to make the forest dwellers in the state self-reliant.


Under the Indira Van Mitan Yojana, youth groups will be formed in 10,000 villages of tribal area of the state. All forest-based economic activities will be conducted through these groups.


👉The Aerospace Start up Skyroot Aerospace has test fired an upper stage rocket engine.


by this way it has become the first Indian private company to demonstrate the capability of homegrown rocket engine.


👉Kamala Harris to run for Vice President Post in US. The US elections are due for the year 2020. While President Donald Trump has one more term to run for US elections, he been challenged by the opponent Joe Biden. Joe Biden was the Vice President of the US during President Obama’s period.


The Presidential Candidate Joe Biden has chosen Kamala Harris to run for Vice President.


She will be the first black woman and the first person of Indian origin to be nominated for the national office of a majority party in the US.


👉On August 11, 2020, a three-judge bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra of Supreme Court ruled that daughters have equal rights as that of sons on parental property.

👉मानवता एक ऐसा शब्द है जिसकी परिभाषा बहुत ही बड़ी है. जैसे-जैसे मानव प्रगति की राह पर आगे बढ़ रहा है वैसे-वैसे वह मानवता की भावना से दूर होता जा रहा है. आज लोग दूसरों की मदद तो दूर अपनों की ही मदद करने में झिझक महसूस करते हैं. एक देश मानवता को भुला अपने ही देश की जनता पर बम गिराने में लगा है तो दूसरा अपने देश में भागकर आए शरणार्थियों को मार-मार कर भगा रहा है. अफ्रीका में करोड़ों लोग भूख की वजह से दम तोड़ रहे हैं वहीं कांगो जैसे गणराज्यों में हैवानियत का नंगा नाच नाचा जा रहा है. विश्व के कई हिस्सों में मानवता का निरंतर क्षय हो रहा है और इन हिस्सों में मदद के नाम पर जमीनी तौर पर कुछ भी नहीं किया जा रहा है.

💟👉19 अगस्त को विश्व मानवता दिवस मनाया गया। इस मौके पर संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ के जिनेवा कार्यालय में हुए कार्यक्रम में वैश्विक मानवीय स्थिति पर ध्यान देने और मिलकर संकट से निपटने की अपील की गयी।
👉संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवतावादी समन्वय दफ्तर ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सहयोग से मानवीय संकट को दूर करने की अपील की। संयुक्त राष्ट्र जनसंख्या कोष कार्यालय ने जोर देते हुए कहा कि विकास को साकार करने के लिए लोगों को आपात मानवीय सहायता देने के साथ शांति स्थापित करने की पूरी कोशिश करनी चाहिए।
💟👉विश्व मानवता दिवस लोगों में मानवता की भावना जगाने के लिए ही शुरू किया गया है. दिसम्बर 2008 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने 19 अगस्त को विश्व मानवता दिवस के रूप में मनाने का निर्णय लिया था. दरअसल 19 अगस्त, 2003 को ही बगदाद में संयुक्त राष्ट्र के हेडक्वार्टर पर आतंकवादी हमले में 22 लोग मारे गए थे जिनमें एक समाज सेवक सरगिओ विएरा डी मेलो (Sergio Vieira de Mello) भी शामिल थे. विश्व मानवता दिवस उन सभी लोगों को एक श्रद्धाजंलि थी जिन्होंने अपना जीवन मानवता की राह पर चलते हुए विश्व को समर्पित कर दिया.
👉भारत में भी मानवता के कई ऐसे प्रतीक हैं जिन पर हमें गर्व है,लेकिन आज भारत में भी मानवता का कत्ल होता दिख रहा है.
👉विश्व मानवता दिवस के मौके पर संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने विश्व के सभी लोगों से अफ्रीका के असहाय लोगों की मदद करने की अपील की है. अफ्रीका के कई हिस्सों में इस समय 11 करोड़ से अधिक लोग भूखमरी और गंभीर अकाल की वजह से पीड़ित हैं. इनमें से सबसे बुरी हालत महिलाओं और बच्चों की है. दूसरे देशों में शरण के लिए भी इनको भारी कीमत चुकानी पड़ रही है. हालत इतने गंभीर हैं कि संयुक्त राष्ट्र भी सभी पीडितों की मदद करने में खुद को असहाय पा रहा है. जिन लोगों को सहायता मिल रही है वह तो ठीक हैं बाकियों ने अपनी जिंदगी भगवान के सहारे छोड़ दी है.
👉अफ्रीका ही नहीं विश्व के कई अन्य हिस्सों में समाज को मानवता की जरूरत है. आज जहां भी प्राकृतिक आपदाएं या कोई अन्य घटना होती है तो सरकारी मदद से पहले लोग आसपास की जनता से मानवता के नाते मदद की आस रखते हैं. मानवता ही एकमात्र ऐसा हथियार है जिससे हम पूरी मानव जाति की सहायता कर सकते हैं.

BCI, a statutory body that regulates legal practice and education in India, passed a resolution to this effect on Sunday and called for an urgent need for improving the quality of legal education.

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has decided to impose a three-year moratorium on opening any law colleges in the country — other than national law colleges, if proposed by state governments — to address a mushrooming of law schools across the country.
BCI, the statutory body that regulates legal practice and education in India, passed a resolution to this effect on Sunday and called for an urgent need for improving the quality of legal education.
“The Bar Council of India has imposed a moratorium for a period of three years on the opening of new law colleges in the country. No fresh proposal or application shall be entertained for any new institution,” the resolution said.
The apex bar body added that it would also work on improving existing institutions, and that those without proper infrastructure or faculty would be shut.
“The idea behind the moratorium is to clamp down on the unregulated growth of law colleges across the country and also to improve the falling standards of legal education. For the next three years, the Bar Council of India will lay stress on improvement of standards of existing institutions and institutions that have no proper infrastructure and faculty will be closed down,“ said Manan Mishra, the chairman of BCI.
Bar Council of India, established by an act of Parliament and exercising powers given to it under the Advocates Act, 1961, promotes legal education and lays down standards of such education in consultation with universities and state bar councils. It is also responsible for granting affiliation to all new law colleges.
Taking about the regulatory role of BCI in legal education, Mishra said, “BCI’s role is akin to the role of medical council of India (MCI). For setting up a new law college, the body intending to do so first has to get a no-objection certificate (NoC) from the state government, followed by an affiliation letter from a university. Thereafter, an approval has to be sought from BCI, which appoints a committee headed by a retired judge of a high court to carry out a physical inspection of the new institute. Only after a go-ahead is received from the special committee, a new law college can start functioning. ”
The resolution expresses concerns at the falling standards of legal education in the country pointing out that there are about 1,500 law colleges in the country. “Due to lethargy of some universities and state governments, several colleges are running without a proper infrastructure. State governments seldom take interest in appointing law faculties in government law colleges and constituent units,” it said.
According to data from the Bar Council, there were 1.3 million lawyers in India as of 2011.

In 2016, a similar attempt was made by BCI to regulate the rising number of law colleges, and an advisory was issued to state governments and universities to not give NOCs and affiliations.

The Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha on July 25, 2019 by the Minister of Finance, Nirmala Sitharaman. It amends the Companies Act, 2013.

3 .The Repealing and Amending Bill, 2019
The Repealing and Amending Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha on July 25, 2019 by the Minister of Law and Justice, Ravi Shankar Prasad. The Bill seeks to repeal 68 Acts in whole and makes minor amendments to two other laws.

4. The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Rajya Sabha by the Minister of Finance, Nirmala Sitharaman, on July 24, 2019. The Bill amends the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. The Code provides a time-bound process for resolving insolvency in companies and among individuals. Insolvency is a situation where individuals or companies are unable to repay their outstanding debt.

5. The Code on Wages, 2019
The Code on Wages, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by the Minister of Labour, Santosh Gangwar on July 23, 2019. It seeks to regulate wage and bonus payments in all employments where any industry, trade, business, or manufacture is carried out. The Code replaces the following four laws: (i) the Payment of Wages Act, 1936, (ii) the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, (iii) the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965, and (iv) the Equal Remuneration Act, 1976.

6. The National Medical Commission Bill, 2019
The National Medical Commission Bill, 2019 was introduced by the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Harsh Vardhan in Lok Sabha on July 22, 2019. The Bill seeks to repeal the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and provide for a medical education the system which ensures: (i) availability of adequate and high quality medical professionals, (ii) adoption of the latest medical research by medical professionals, (iii) periodic assessment of medical institutions, and (iv) an effective grievance redressal mechanism.

7. The Right to Information (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Right to Information (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by the Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Jitendra Singh, on July 19, 2019. It seeks to amend the Right to Information Act, 2005.

8. The Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Bill, 2019
The Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by the Minister of Finance, Nirmala Sitharaman, on July 19, 2019. The Bill provides for a mechanism to ban unregulated deposit schemes and protect the interests of depositors. It also seeks to amend three laws, i.e., the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 and the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002.

9. The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Rajya Sabha by the Minister of Women and Child Development, Smriti Zubin Irani on July 18, 2019. The Bill amends the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. The Act seeks to protect children from offences such as sexual assault, sexual harassment, and pornography.

10. The Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Rajya Sabha by the Minister for Law and Justice, Ravi Shankar Prasad, on July 15, 2019. It seeks to amend the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The Act contains provisions to deal with domestic and international arbitration, and defines the law for conducting conciliation proceedings.

11. The Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha on July 15, 2019 by the Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari. The Bill seeks to amend the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 to provide for road safety. The Act provides for the grant of licenses and permits related to motor vehicles, standards for motor vehicles, and penalties for violation of these provisions.

12. The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Rajya Sabha on July 12, 2019 by the Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Hardeep Singh Puri. It amends the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India Act, 2008. The Act established the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA). The AERA regulates tariffs and other charges for aeronautical services provided at civilian airports with annual traffic above 15 lakh passengers. It also monitors the performance standard of services across these airports.

13. The Central Universities (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Central Universities (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Minister of Human Resource Development on July 8, 2019. The Bill seeks to amend the Central Universities Act, 2009, which establishes universities for teaching and research in various states.

14. The Protection of Human Rights (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Protection of Human Rights (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by the Minister of Home Affairs, Amit Shah, on July 8, 2019. The Bill amends the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993. The Act provides for a National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), State Human Rights Commissions (SHRC), as well as Human Rights Courts.

15. The National Investigation Agency (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The National Investigation Agency (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by the Minister for Home Affairs, Amit Shah, on July 8, 2019. The Bill amends the National Investigation Agency (NIA) Act, 2008. The Act provides for a national-level agency to investigate and prosecute offences listed in a schedule (scheduled offences). Further, the Act allows for the creation of Special Courts for the trial of scheduled offences.

16. The Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Amendment Bill, 2019
The Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Amendment Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by the Minister of Home Affairs, Amit Shah, on July 8, 2019. The Bill amends the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967. The Act provides special procedures to deal with terrorist activities, among other things.

17. The Consumer Protection Bill, 2019
The Consumer Protection Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Ram Vilas Paswan on July 8, 2019. The Bill replaces the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.

18. The Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Amendment Bill, 2019
The Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Amendment Bill, 2019 was introduced by the Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri, in Lok Sabha on July 8, 2019. The Bill amends the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971. The Act provides for the eviction of unauthorised occupants from public premises in certain cases.

19. The New Delhi International Arbitration Centre Bill, 2019
The New Delhi International Arbitration Centre Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by the Minister of Law and Justice, Ravi Shankar Prasad on July 3, 2019. It seeks to establish an autonomous and independent institution for better management of arbitration in India. The provisions of the Bill will be effective from March 2, 2019.

20. The Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Teachers' Cadre) Bill, 2019
The Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Teachers' Cadre) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Minister of Human Resource Development on June 27, 2019. It replaces an Ordinance that was promulgated on March 7, 2019. The Bill provides for reservation of teaching positions in central educational institutions for persons belonging to: (i) Scheduled Castes, (ii) Scheduled Tribes, (iii) socially and educationally backward classes, and (iv) economically weaker sections.

21. The Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Second Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by Harshvardhan, Minister of Health and Family Welfare on June 27, 2019. The Bill amends the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and replaces the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Second Ordinance, 2019 which was promulgated on February 21, 2019. The Act sets up the Medical Council of India (MCI) which regulates medical education and practice. Provisions of this Bill will be effective from September 26, 2018.

22. The Dentists (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Dentists (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by Harshvardhan, Minister of Health and Family Welfare on June 27, 2019. The Bill amends the Dentists Act, 1948. The Act regulates the profession of dentistry and constitutes: (i) the Dental Council of India, (ii) State Dental Councils, and (iii) Joint State Dental Councils.

23. The Special Economic Zones (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Special Economic Zones (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry on June 24, 2019. It amends the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and replaces an Ordinance that was promulgated on March 2, 2019. The Act provides for the establishment, development and management of Special Economic Zones for the promotion of exports.

The Bill amends the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Act, 2004 and replaces an Ordinance promulgated on March 1, 2019. The Act provides for reservation in appointment and promotions in state government posts, and admission to professional institutions for certain reserved categories. Professional institutions include government medical colleges, dental colleges, and polytechnics.

25. The Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by the Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Ravi Shankar Prasad on June 24, 2019. It replaces an Ordinance promulgated on March 2, 2019.

26. The Homoeopathy Central Council (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Homoeopathy Central Council (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State, Ministry of AYUSH on June 21, 2019. It amends the Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 and replaces the Homoeopathy Central Council (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019 that was promulgated on March 2, 2019. The Act sets up the Central Council of Homoeopathy which regulates homoeopathic education and practice.

27. The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2019
The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by the Minister of Law and Justice, Ravi Shankar Prasad on June 21, 2019. It replaces an Ordinance promulgated on February 21, 2019.

28. The Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty Fourth Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Fourth Amendment) Bill, 2019 was introduced in Lok Sabha by the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Thaawar Chand Gehlot on January 8, 2019. The Bill seeks to provide for the advancement of "economically weaker sections" of citizens.

• A Mexican researcher has discovered a way to turn cactus leaves into a material with similar properties to plastic. It’s not toxic and is biodegradable.

Key highlights
• Mexico’s prickly pear cactus, which is emblazoned on the country’s flag, could soon play a new and innovative role in the production of biodegradable plastics.
• A packaging material made from this plant has been developed by a Mexican researcher and is offering a promising alterative to plastics.
• The pulp of the prickly pear is mixed with non-toxic additives to produce sheets that can be used for packaging.
• The cactus used for her experiments come from San Esteban, a small town located in Jalisco state of Mexico, where single-use non-recyclable plastic bags, straws and other disposable items will be banned from next year.
• Pascoe is still conducting tests, but hopes to patent her product later this year and look for partners in early 2020, with an eye towards large scale production.

बजट 2019-20: उत्तराखंड सरकार ने 48,663 करोड़ रुपये का बजट पेश किया

उत्तराखंड में वित्त मंत्री प्रकाश पंत ने 18 फरवरी 2019 को आगामी वित्त वर्ष 2019-20 का 48,663 करोड़ रुपये का आर्थिक बजट विधानसभा में प्रस्तुत किया गया. प्रकाश पंत ने संस्कृत के श्लोक के साथ बजट प्रस्तुत किया. बजट में कृषकों के साथ कृषि, स्वरोजगार को बढ़ावा देने की घोषणा की गई है. बजट में 9798.15 करोड़ का राजकोषीय घाटे का अनुमान है.
बजट पूर्णतया कर मुक्त है. इसमें भ्रष्टाचार पर जीरो टॉलरेंस और सुशासन पर जोर दिया गया है. बजट के तहत 48679.43 करोड़ की राजस्व प्राप्ति का लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया गया है. जबकि सरकार का बजट 48663.90 करोड़ का है.

भारत के चंद्रमौलि रामनाथन संयुक्त राष्ट्र बजट व वित्त विभाग में नियंत्रक एवं सहायक महासचिव नियुक्त

भारत के चंद्रमौलि रामनाथन को संयुक्त राष्ट्र (UN) का बजट व वित्त विभाग में नियंत्रक एवं सहायक महासचिव नियुक्त किया गया है। चन्द्रमौलि वित्त प्रबन्ध योजना के कार्यों की देखरेख भी करेंगे। चन्द्रमौलि की नियुक्ति यूएन के महासचिव एंटोनियो गुतेरस द्वारा की गई है। चन्द्रमौलि ने भारतीय सहायक महालेखा परीक्षक एवं लेखा महानिदेशक के पद पर भी कार्य किया है।

अर्जेंटीना के राष्ट्रपति भारत यात्रा पर

अर्जेंटीना के राष्ट्रपति मॉरिसियो माक्री अपनी तीनदिवसीय भारत यात्रा पर आए हुए हैं। वह यहां प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के साथ प्रतिनिधिमंडल स्तर की वार्ता करेंगे। भारत और अर्जेंटीना के राजनयिक सम्बन्धो को 70 वर्ष पूरे होने वाले हैं.

भारत और मोरक्को आतंकवाद का मुकाबला करने हेतु संयुक्त कार्यसमूह गठित करने पर सहमत

भारत के विदेश मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज और मोरक्को के विदेश मंत्री नासेर बौरिटा के बीच मोरक्‍को की राजधानी रबात में प्रतिनिधिमंडल स्तर की वार्ता के बाद चार सहमति पत्रों पर हस्ताक्षर किए गये. विदेश मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज और मोरक्को के विदेश मंत्री ने रक्षा और सुरक्षा, आतंकवाद और व्यापार तथा निवेश सहित कई क्षेत्रों में द्विपक्षीय सहयोग बढ़ाने के तरीकों पर चर्चा की.

भारत के विदेश मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज बुल्गारिया मोरक्को और स्पेन तीन देशों की चार दिवसीय यात्रा पर हैं. इस यात्रा का मुख्य उद्देश्य तीनों देशों के साथ भारत के संबंधों के मजबूत करना है. विदेश मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज की ये पहली मोरक्को यात्रा है.

केन्द्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड (CBDT) के नए चेयरमैन नियुक्त
केन्द्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड (CBDT) के नए चेयरमैन प्रमोद चन्द्र मोदी को नियुक्त किया गया है। प्रमोद भारतीय राजस्व सेवा के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी हैं। उनसे पहले सुशील चन्द्र इस पद पर थे पर उन्हें चुनाव आयुक्त बना दिया गया है। प्रमोद आयकर कैडर के 1982 बैच के राजस्व सेवा अधिकारी हैं। CBDT आयकर मामलों में निर्णय लेने वाली शीर्ष निकाय है।

विश्व बैंक ,भारत एवं हिमाचल प्रदेश के ऋण समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए
विश्व बैंक ,भारत सरकार एवं हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार के मध्य नई दिल्ली के ग्रेटर शिमला एरिया में साफ और स्वच्छ पानी लाने में सहयोग के लिए 4 करोड़ डॉलर के ऋण समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए। वर्तमान में ग्रेटर शिमला एरिया के लोग जल जनित बीमारियों एवं गम्भीर जल संकट का सामना कर रहे हैं। इस समझौते द्वारा ग्रेटर शिमला एरिया में सीवेज सेवाओं को बेहतर बनाने के लिए कोशिश की जाएगी।

बेरोजगारी दर में गिरावट
अंतरराष्ट्रीय श्रम संगठन की वैश्विक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार वर्ष 2018 में बेरोजगारी दर 1% से गिरकर 5% पर आ गई है। अंतरराष्ट्रीय श्रम संगठन द्वारा जारी आउटलुक ट्रेंड्स 2019 अनुसार वर्ष 2019 में बेरोजगारी दर 4.9% तक गिरने का अनुमान है। इस रिपोर्ट अनुसार 15 से 24 आयू वर्ग की वैश्विक बेरोजगारी दर 11.8% थी।

"अमेजन पे यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (यूपीआई)' लांच
अमेजन ने एक्सिस बैंक के साथ भागीदारी में अपने ग्राहकों को वित्तीय लेन देन की सुविधा मुहैया कराने के लिए एंड्रॉइड यूजर्स के लिए "अमेजन पे यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (यूपीआई)' लांच किया है। यूपीआई एक तुरन्त रियल-टाइम भुगतान करने की प्रक्रिया है जिसे नेशनल पेमेंट्स कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया द्वारा अंतर बैंक लेन देन के लिए विकसित किया गया है।

नासा करेगा SPHEREx दूरबीन लांच
नासा द्वारा ब्रम्हांड की उत्पत्ति और जीवन को समझने के लिए SPHEREx नामक दूरबीन को 2023 तक लांच करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। SPHEREx का पूरा नाम स्पेक्ट्रो-फोटोमीटर फॉर द हिस्ट्री ऑफ द यूनिवर्स, एपोच ऑफ रियनाइजेशन एंड आईपीएस एक्सप्लोरर है। यह दूरबीन कक्षा में स्थापित होने के बाद हर 6 माह में हमारे आकाशगंगा में 100 मिलियन सितारों और 300 मिलियन से अधिक आकाशगंगाओं पर जानकारी का निरीक्षण व एकत्रीकरण करेगी।

वायुशक्ति-2019 का हुआ आयोजन

राजस्थान के पोखरण रेंज में वायुसेना ने अपना युद्धभ्यास "वायुशक्ति-2019" आयोजित किया। वायुशक्ति 2019 में वायुसेना चांधन फील्ड फायरिंग रेंज में अपना शक्ति प्रदर्शन कर रही है। इस अभ्यास में वायुसेना के 138 विमान शामिल हुए हैं। इस अभ्यास में पहली बार मिग-29 विमान का हवा से सतह पर प्रहार देखने को मिल रहा है।

भारत ने पाकिस्तान से मोस्ट फेवर्ड नेशन का दर्जा छीना 
पुलवामा हमले के बाद भारत सरकार ने पाकिस्तान से मोस्ट फेवर्ड नेशन का दर्जा छीन लिया है। वित्तमन्त्री अरुण जेटली के नेतृत्व में हुई कैबिनेट की बैठक में यह निर्णय लिया गया। इस बैठक के लिए 25 देशों के प्रतिनिधि भारतीय विदेश मंत्रालय के दफ्तर पहुंचे। पाकिस्तान को 1996 में भारत द्वारा मोस्ट फेवर्ड नेशन का दर्जा दिया गया था।

फ्रांस ने बनाया "एंटबोट"
फ्रांस द्वारा बिना जीपीएस वाला रोबोट तैयार किया गया है। यह रोबोट आसपास के वातावरण का पता लगाकर वापिस अपनी जगह पर लौट आएगा। इस रोबोट का नाम "एंटबोट" रखा गया है। इस रोबोट के निर्माण के लिए फ्रेंच नेशनल सेंटर फॉर साइंटिफिक रिसर्च (CNRS) के वैज्ञानिकों ने रेगिस्तान में रहने वाली चींटीयों से प्रेरणा ली।

सुशील चन्द्रा चुनाव आयुक्त नियुक्त
राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद की मंजूरी से सीबीडीटी के चैयरमेन सुशील चन्द्रा को चुनाव आयुक्त नियुक्त किया गया है। इस वर्ष मई में वह चैयरमेन के पद से अपना कार्यकाल पूरा करलेंगे। 2016 से उनका कार्यकाल दो बार बढ़ाया गया। सुशील 1980 बैच के आईआरएस अधिकारी हैं।

देश की पहली महिला फ्लाइट इंजीनियर
देश की पहली महिला फ्लाइट इंजीनियर के तौर पर फ़्लाइट लेफ्टिनेंट हिना जायसवाल को शामिल किया गया है। ऑपरेशनल हेलिकॉप्टर यूनिट्स में वह अब फ्लाइट इंजीनियर के रूप में शामिल होंगी। हिना ने पंजाब यूनिवर्सिटी से इंजीनियरिंग की डिग्री प्राप्त की है।

"मुख्यमंत्री वृध्दजन पेंशन योजना" प्रारंभ
बिहार सरकार द्वारा 60 वर्ष या उससे अधिक उम्र के वृध्द जनो के लिए "मुख्यमंत्री वृध्दजन पेंशन योजना" प्रारंभ करने की घोषणा की गई। इससे बिहार के वृद्ध नागरिको को बुढ़ापे में पेंशन का लाभ मिलेगा। इस योजना का लाभ सरकारी नौकरी से रिटायर लोगों को नही मिलेगा।

चीनी का समर्थन मूल्य बढ़ा
केंद्र सरकार ने चीनी का समर्थन मूल्य 29 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 31 रुपये कर दिया है। इस बात की जानकारी खाद्य मंत्री रामविलास पासवान द्वारा दी गई। इस फैंसले से गन्ना किसानों के तेजी से बढ़ते बकाए के भुगतान में चीनी मिलों को मदद मिलेगी।

"प्रधानमंत्री श्रम योगी मान धन" योजना प्रारम्भ
केंद्रीय श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्रालय द्वारा 15 फरवरी को औपचारिक रूप से "प्रधानमंत्री श्रम योगी मान धन" योजना प्रारम्भ की गई है। इस योजना से असंगठित क्षेत्र के करीब 42 करोड़ लोगों को लाभ मिलेगा। इस योजना द्वारा ठेले वालों, घरेलू कामगार, रेहड़ी पटरी, असंगठित क्षेत्र के श्रमिकों, सिर पर बोझ ढ़ोने वाले मजदूरों को तीन हजार रुपये प्रतिमाह पेंशन के रूप में मिलेगी।
